Test Fitting Service Saves Days of Assembly and Labour Costs 

Included in any Island Timber Frame quote is the material cost, cutting, installation of joinery, sanding and test fitting of the structure. The first four items (materials, cutting, joinery and sanding) are standard items in any timber or glulam quote, but test fitting is a service that can avoid days of assembly on-site, saving significant labour costs.

Our timber framers pre-assemble each structure in our 14,000 sq foot shop to ensure each connection fits perfectly before it is shipped. Each connection is clearly labelled, both on a set of plans and on the beams. When a package arrives from us at your construction site you will have clear plans, clearly labelled pieces and a guarantee that it will assemble effortlessly.  Many of our most elaborate structures assemble easily in just a few days.
